Job Description
We are looking for a Business Analyst to act as a bridge between business stakeholders and the data engineering team, ensuring that requirements and processes are well-structured, documented, and aligned with the company’s strategy, including sustainability goals.
Responsibility and Attributions
Analyze and document business requirements, translating stakeholder needs into clear and actionable specifications.
Model "as-is" and "to-be" business processes using appropriate tools and techniques (flowcharts, diagrams, presentations).
Support the Product Owner (PO) in structuring business needs and processes, including backlog prioritization.
Translate business needs into detailed technical requirements for the Data Engineering team.
Ensure business processes align with data strategies and sustainability goals.
Assist in organizing and structuring the data landscape, facilitating the development of data-driven products.
Monitor project roadmap progress and support the team in tracking milestones.
Document project definitions and decisions to ensure transparency and continuity.
Proactively develop solutions and provide recommendations for process and product improvements.
Requirements and Qualifications
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills to interpret business challenges and propose solutions.
Experience in Supply Chain and Agribusiness, understanding their processes and challenges.
Fluency in Portuguese and English for effective communication with national and international stakeholders.
Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and tools such as Miro, Jira, Azure DevOps, and Confluence.
Experience in process analysis and modeling (BPMN, diagrams, user stories, etc.).
Additional Information
Experience in Sustainability and ESG projects.
Familiarity with BI and ERP tools, such as Power BI, Tableau, and SAP.
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to mediate communication between technical and business teams.
