JOB OVERVIEW
As the Internet Protocol (IP) Specialist, you design, deploy, and manage high-performance LAN and WAN networks, with a focus on scalability, high availability, and modern network protocols. This role requires a strong background in IP networking, particularly in telecommunications or engineering, along with excellent problem-solving skills.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop and implement robust LAN and WAN network architectures
• NOC services Layer 1, 2, and 3
• Configure and manage routers and switches from leading vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, Nokia, Huawei, Mikrotik, and Extreme Networks
• MOP Creation and preparation for execution
• Ensure network scalability and availability using:
o Routing Protocols: RIP, IS-IS, OSPF, and BGP
o Layer 2 Technologies: EAPS, STP, RSVP, and MSTP
o MPLS: L2VPN, L3VPN, LDP, RSVP-TE, and resilience strategies
o QoS configurations to optimize traffic flow and network performance
• Ensure continuous network monitoring using tools such as Zabbix, Grafana, and PRTG, providing proactive issue resolution and performance insights
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues to minimize downtime and maintain system reliability

REQUISITOS
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
• Over 5 years of proven experience working with IP and Transport products
• Experience writing configuration scripts on Nokia 7750, 7210, 7250 routers
• Experience running Command Lines (CLI) on Nokia equipment
• Basic troubleshooting experience with Service/Core routers (IP/TCP network routing skills)
• Strong communication skills for clear documentation and teamwork
• Technical, analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively under pressure
• Fluent in English
