Who we are and what we do
Shaw and Partners is a software development provider for high-profile startups with approximately 25 remote staff. We are also incubating two startups. Christopher Shaw, the founder and CEO, would be your manager.
Responsibilities:
• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications
• Identify and track bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and internal standards
REQUISITOS
Technical requirements:
• Frustrated with poorly structured, inefficient, and unmaintainable code
• Experience with testing frameworks, building backend APIs and user-centric frontends
• Solid Computer Science fundamentals knowledge (algorithms, data structures, concurrency, etc.)
Languages you need to know:
• React.js, Node.js and TypeScript

• You will have the opportunity to work very closely with our CEO, relax he doesnt bite
• We pay you in USD
• We dont ask you to keep advanced English in your pocket, we have employees from Jordan, Egypt, Argentina, Brazil, the United States, Ukraine and more
• We dont have happy hours on Fridays because everyone works remotely, but there are online games if you arrange them with the team
• Do you have a doctors appointment or a driving test in the middle of the week? No problem, you manage your own hours, you just have to keep an eye on when the client sends a message and requests a meeting
• It sounds a bit obvious, but for those who have never worked remotely, we dont require a dress code. You just cant show up without a shirt when youre on a video call, okay?
• If you refer a colleague to work with us and they are hired, after three months of your friends employment contract, well pay you an allowance
• Were not Google, but our selection process is faster than theirs, you can trust us

• You have a sense of ownership, the project is yours, there was a bug at the weekend? Fix it
• You enjoy working on a project from start to finish, so roll up your sleeves because youll be working on both the front-end and the back-end too. But dont worry if youre not so keen on working on either, tell us and well find a way!

• Youre plugged into the latest news in the tech world and like to give input on new ideas and solutions
• Is always attentive to customer feedback, after all its the customer who pays the bills
